Our Saviours?
/2025/The work aims to expose and criticize images, which manifest and support the artificial, Bulgarian national identity. This form of ostentatious patriotism spreads fictitious scenarios by utilizing history, folklore, culture and language. These visuals subjectively celebrate and glorify Bulgaria, by excluding anything that contradicts or challenges the national idea. The main components of the project are a book that contains my research, animations and a spatial installation with information boards and posters.
