Our Saviours?
/2025/This project examines Soviet monuments built between 1949 and 1990 that still stand on Bulgarian soil. It explores the ongoing debate over what should be done with these artifacts from the Soviet era. The installation consists of double-sided panels that, when assembled, form a monument from my hometown. Each panel can be flipped to reveal information about its often overlooked and deliberately forgotten history.
